Tips & techniques for leading & following
Cross Body Lead (CBL) variations
Cool new combination patterns
Proper spinning technique
Dance-floor etiquette

About Jimmy Anton

Jimmy Anton has been teaching and performing Salsa/Mambo since 1991.

His credits are many and varied…he:

has been a dancer with the Tito Puente & Eddie Torres dance troupes. He’s also danced and performed with many famous salsa artists/bands/orchestras such as: Celia Cruz, Oscar De Leon, El Grand Combo, Richie Ray & Bobby Cruz, Grupo Niche, Tito Rodriguez Jr. Los Hermanos Moreno, Orquesta De La Luz, Orquesta Guayacan, Tito Nieves, Tipica 73, Cachao, Mario Bauza Big Band, Mambo Legends Big Band Orchestra, Spanish Harlem Orchestra, and more.
formed his own troupe of 36 dancers which has twice been featured in Madison Square Garden
has choreographed for videos of acclaimed latin artists such as Celia Cruz (Oye Como Va) and Jose Alberto (Gitana).
was first to bring Salsa On2 to Los Angeles, Honk Kong, Argentina, and Peru; first to innovate Dancing On2 in a Straight Line (En Linia); and first to innovate Dancing On2 with turns a la West Cost Swing
has taught, performed and DJd in over 20 countries both individually and as part of Salsa Congresses
has amassed numerous awards for his teaching, event production and as an Ambassador for Salsa (on 2)

Started the First and Premier Salsa Social in 1993. Jimmy Anton’s Social is the longest running social in NYC, and has become a local tourist attraction for well-known On2 Dancers from all over the world.
