Our On2 Dance Social is turning 3 years old!
Made in New York: Mambo, 70’s Night!
The 1970’s marked a very special time in the world of Salsa music and dance. The Cheetah Club (located in New York City) became home to some of the greatest salsa artists who under FANIA Records, created some of the most unique, explosive and infectious sounds that inspired the new salsa/mambo movement of that time. Today, the music of these All-Star Legends is still very much relevant and loved by salsa dancers all over the world.
Please join Mambo Inc. on Saturday, May 19th as we honor this era by dancing to the music of Hector Lavoe, Ray Barretto, Joe Cuba, Ismael Rivera, Larry Harlow, Cheo Feliciano, Ruben Blades, Ismael Miranda, Johnny Pacheco and many, many more.
Oh, and did we mention it’s the Mambo Outlet’s 3 year anniversary?
We encourage everyone to join us in the spirit of this celebration and dress up in your best 70’s outfits. What would you have worn if you were on your way to the Cheetah Club in New York?
Workshops:
No 7 p.m. Class.
8-9 p.m. – Intermediate On2 Footwork: who needs to think when your feet just go? An hour-long session of fun-filled On2 shines.
9-10 p.m. – Intermediate/Advanced On2 Partnerwork: expand your social moves library. Focusing on the fluidity and technique of On2 leading and following.
Each class is only $10 if you pre-register below, or $12 at the door (cash only).
Purchase any two classes and your entrance to the social afterward is FREE!

Social Dancing:
10-1 a.m.: join us and many of L.A.’s best on2 dancers as we put our love of music and dance first and forget our troubles for a night.
$8 at the door.
